About Daljit:

I've been practice Reiki since 2001. I was introduced to it through UCSC recreational department. On a mystical day in winter, I was attuned and taught 1st Degree. I spent the next 2 years exploring Reiki and practicing and finally was trained in 2nd Degree. Though, with lack of full instruction I stopped my practice in Reiki. It wasn't until 2006 that I met Sangeet Kaur Khalsa of the Healing Source in Phoenix that my spirit rekindled with Reiki as she quickly re-attuned me in 1st and 2nd Degree. A week later I went back to Phoenix and spent a week there being attuned for 3rd Degree. Sangeet has unfolded in me a passion in the science of energetics as she explained how to use the Reiki symbols, how it relates to yoga, and how the energetics of the body respond with all this. I was very impressed and furthered my education with Sangeet in learning Numerology, Reiki, Gong therapy, and Kundalini Yoga. In 2008, Sangeet invited me to the Reiki Master Training Program, a teacher training program to teach 1st and 2nd Degree Reiki. I happily agreed after an interview process with her and began the 5 month training with her and 22 others in 2009. Since I've attuned and trainined many and love the offering of sharing this heart-centered, easy-to-do, healing therapy.

Reiki is Universal Spiritual Healing Energy. Its an energy that comes through a trained practitioner for the treatment of many problems and diseases. "Rei" means Universal Spiritual Wisdom, and "Ki" means Life force energy. Reiki is that deeply profound source of life force energy. Through the hands of the Reiki Practitioner and the placement in key areas of the body, Reiki flows through treating the patient.

 

The uniqueness of Reiki is that anyone can do it. No experience or knowledge of any healing systems are required to learn. All that is needed is a Reiki Master who is trained to help open up the energy in the student. This process is called an "attunement." Attunements are a special ceremenony in which a trained Reiki master opens the flow of Reiki through the upper chakras and connects the circuitry into the hands.The attunement ceremony has been passed down since Dr. Usui and provides the link between Reiki and Reiki Healing. You are the link. Through you, Reiki does the healing and the attunements are what makes this possible. Through a Daljit, the attunement process is carried out in which he flows Reiki energy into key systems and area’s of the body. Through the attunements you get an expanded energy field that not only enhances your sensitivity but also provides protection. It opens the higher centers and allowing healing energy to flow naturally through the hands. Together the attunements expand, open, and heal while also sealing the Reiki energy for your availability for your whole life. It’s quite literally a profound transformation.

This is the loveliness of Reiki Healing. Anyone can do it, and just going through attunement and opening to Reiki helps to heal us at deep levels. With practice, Reiki comes through on many levels- as we work to heal others, Reiki heals us.

 

Encouragment for Healers
Daljit believes that all healers should be trained in Reiki. As a student of Traditional Chinese Medicine he has seen Reiki work wonders for complex cases and patients. As an energetic system, Reiki offers a depth of protection while also enhancing intuition and sensitivity, a treasure in the healing field. The combined effect produces a wonderful healer complementing any tradition and modality.

Reiki Classes
Classes are weekend long in which one Saturday is dedicated to 1st Degree and Sunday dedicated to 2nd Degree. Classes are from 12:30-5:30pm on both days with a 1-hour private session with Daljit the morning before each day of classes. The 1-hour private sessions include the attunement ceremonies done at his home and a Reiki treatment from Daljit integrating the vast space and healing of the attunement.
